Thanksgiving

Wow a long time has gone by again. Owen had Thanksgiving with Uncle Greg, Aunt Nancy and his cousins Annie and Kate, Grandma popped in for the big day.

Ramblin' Man.

Owen's first video rambling down our street, strummin' until he gets to the front of the building. He then sings the name of the building by spelling out the letters. It has a Bob Dylan feel without the man dropping the lyric cards!

One train ride plus One music teacher equals One happy little Owen! What this picture doesn't show is that Owen has just fallen and hit his head on a chair and the button stud on his jacket dug into his head right behind his ear. We were actually on the way to see the Doctor...just in case!

Swing into Fall!

At the last minute we decided to join Sue and Corinne's "Oktoberfestivus" upstate. We stopped along the road to pick some apples and a pumpkin. Then strait to the swing set at Sue and Corinne's house.
Owen tests out the Wii Rock Band game...Mom really goes for it after he's gone to bed!!!We visited the NY Transit Museum...a must see for train enthusiasts and toddlers! You can walk through an old subway station and check out all the old subway cars!

England & First Day of School

After a super quick flight on a jumbo jet with extraordinarily strong tail winds we landed in London after only about maybe 3 hours sleep! Though Owen was sleep deprived, he was so excited to see Nanna and Granddad waiting for us after coming through customs!
Touristy but fun...its always good to see Big Ben!
Owen awaits his proper English breakfast (fried egg, beans, toast, sausage, bacon and black pudding) in a pub.

We had a GREAT day today!!! Owen has returned from the dark side! Hopefully for good! I needed it. We all needed it!

More Ohio cuteness...

OHIO

We apologize for the delay on postings recently, but the day we returned from our big trip to Ohio, Owen hit the infamous "terrible twos" with a vengeance! Wow! Out of nowhere! But it is all part of his development...right?!?!

However, we did have a great time in Ohio with the family. Here's Uncle Greg giving Owen advice to "take it easy on your parents because they are OLD!"
At Uncle Dennis and Aunt Susan's farm Bernie and Kate took Owen for his first canoe ride!

The Columbus Zoo had the best petting zoo ever!!! We could actually walk around and pet them! Here is Owen preparing a snack for the sleeping goat to eat as soon as he wakes up! So sweet!
