An Owen in Motion.....

Owen was super happy to where his backpack (which he packed) to go to England.

This was Owens favourite, the "England Train" (which is a tube train)
was a close second. This motored, probably as fast as a tube, the carousel
was in Leicester Square and it was beautiful at dusk/night.

Christmas Pt 3 "Nanagranddads"

Part three in England at "Nanagranddads". Owen had a great time with Nana,

Granddad, Uncle Steve, Auntie Just, and Cousins Lucy and Charlie.

He saw lots of relatives and friends and of course got lots of presents.

Christmas Part two

Christmas came early Owen loved opening presents

but would probably been happy with just a couple.

Thanksgiving etc

Owen spent thanksgiving in Ohio, he really enjoyed the plane ride,

loved looking out of the window. He saw Grandma and her new house,

met countless people on thanksgiving day in Marietta and got to play with

Granddad Schwab at COSI, where he had a blast!!

Owen had an early Christmas with Grandma.

Owen went to the aquarium at Coney Island, he was excited to see the sharks, as he has a
great white that he plays with in the bath. He also has a small fishing boat with a
crew of three aboard.

Noddy Nod

Here comes the little Nodding man!

Owen loves Noddy, we read the two books that he has 6,7 maybe 8 or so times a day.
He's been introduced to the "puter" and loves the web site. So it came as no surprise
when asked who he would like to dress up as that Noddy came up. Luckily Owen knows

a seamstress.

Owen and Katie went with Midge and Art to the sculpture park for a day of art and music with a Halloween vibe.

Pumpkins, animals and apples

Owen had a busy three day weekend, Saturday he went to Octoberfest at the park.

Pumpkins, Owen didn't take this one he wanted a little pumpkin.

On Sunday Owen saw lots of animals at the Bronx zoo and managed to combine his two loves of animals and carousels.

Finally Monday he did a spot of apple picking in upstate New York.

Owens friend Tessa had a bouncy castle at her birthday party,
Owen wasn't sure at first but suddenly with shouts of "in! in! in!" he went for it.

Since then Owen has referred to everyone as "boys".

Animals

Owen shows off his "animals" that he now has to sleep with. Thanks Nanna and Granddad for the rhino and elephant.

"UP"... Owen is adding words daily new words include rhino, beach, this, pretty and he is beginning to say please rather than blowing a cute raspberry.

Owen opens a pressy from Grandma, thanks Grandma. He loved the overalls so much he
made mummy change his outfit there and then.

Yes, this is all Owen's doing. The snorkel mask(for safety of course) and surfing a boogie board right here in our very own back yard!

Yes. There is a real farm in Queens. Owen checks in on the live stock...the sheep still say "baaa" and the goats still say "maaa"!

And...more SWIMMING! If you look closely you can see the turtles that Owen's Dad painted on the bottom of the pool!

Nanna

Owen knew immediately that he had a pressy from Nanna and Granddad when Mummy opened the mail box and there was a small package inside. Owen thanks Nanna for his cars and points to her picture on the wall.

All the moves

Owen sports an old T-shirt that Mummy recently converted into a sleeveless romper.

Owen loves the water.

Pool, pool! This is pretty much the first words out of Owens mouth in the morning. He has the choice of two!! The one in our building and the one at the park. He loves jumping in and isn't afraid of going under, he likes blowing bubbles and attempts to swim. In the video he is in the park wading pool and is going backward using his hand to move like a turtle.

Upstate

Today was Owen's 18th month check up. He's doing great! 34 1/4" tall (95th) and 23 lbs (15th).
But this past weekend we went upstate to visit Sue and Corinne. Owen had a ball...literally!

Waterfalls

Owen is having loads of fun eating yogurt with cheerios. If you can look past the food all over him ... notice the tan lines! No he's not wearing a white shirt!!!Today we went to see the Waterfalls exhibit under the Brooklyn Bridge! CHEESE!
